Wow - Over 300!

We are so excited to announce that we have OVER 300 registered runners/walkers for our first Halloween Hustle 5K! We had hopes of reaching this number but didn't think we'd hit that mark. It's amazing to see how much support and love that has just poured out from this community and beyond. We've seen contributions coming in from out of state and it just goes to show how much people really care and want to support someone in need.

We will still take new registrations at the event, however we can't guarantee a t-shirt at this point.

A Huge Thank you to all of our runners & walkers that are planning on coming out Saturday. We have a lot of parents that have worked hard to make this event happen with long hours given towards making this a successful event. We have amazing contributors that have generously given to make this successful.

Wow, it's hard to believe that it's finally here! Everyone is ready to support Emilia by running/walking this 5K & getting together at Guilifty's Underground for the After Party!

Get on your crazy Halloween outfits, or at least Halloween Socks & running shoes and have fun at this candy-filled 5K! Remember the prize categories!

The online registrations will close tonight at midnight so that we can have registrations ready for Saturday. If you planned to join us for this, please come on out & register Saturday morning at 9AM! 5000 Ritter Rd, Mechanicsburg, PA

The After-Party has a $5 cover-charge to get in the door. This IS family friendly and we hope you all can come out and join us. There will be music you can enjoy, food & drinks that you can order (paid separately), and prizes you may win! Can you tell we're getting amped up for Emilia!!!!

Car Wash on September 28th

Come on out to the Metro Bank (near Cedar Cliff High School) and get your Car Washed! It will be 100% donations, so please give what you can to help Emilia!

We decided that we will also have a bake sale and lemonade table as well. We still need lots of volunteers to help make this a successful event. Please consider helping out for a couple of hours. Please sign up here (all you need to do is enter your email address, you don't have to register to sign up) and look for the time slot that you can help. Please bring a bucket & sponge or Shammy!

Cupcakes & Cookies at the Paisley Pair for Emilia!

August & September are Emilia months at The Paisley Pair!

You can get a dozen cupcakes $15, or a dozen cookies $14. Half of the proceeds will go to Emilia's family to help cover the costs of Emilia's treatments.

Sometimes Helping Hands 4 Emilia is actually getting our hands dirty for a good cause! A few of us were able to do a sneak attack and weed the banks & flower beds for Mom & Dad so that they could keep focusing on their kids! We had a great time doing it too.

Our friend Emilia is a fun & energetic girl who has just been recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma bone cancer. Emilia has many friends, that want to do something more for her than just say "We're thinking about you!". With a girl that is so sweet and fun it's hard to sit back and do nothing.

Ewing's sarcoma is a primary bone cancer that affects mainly children and adolescents. It's one of a group of cancers known collectively as the Ewing sarcoma family of tumors -- ESFT or sometimes just EFT. It's the second most common bone cancer in children, but it's also relatively uncommon. It accounts for only 1% of all childhood cancers. Although it can occur at any age, it very rarely occurs in adults over the age of 30. Many illnesses can cause the same symptoms as Ewing's sarcoma, it's sometimes missed in its early stages. - Source: WebMD
